Summer Squash was born from a simple belief: kids don't need much to make something amazing. Founded by Brooklynn Johnson — fine artist, classroom teacher, and camp director — our kits are built on years of watching children discover what they're capable of when you hand them the right materials and a little creative direction. Every kit comes with everything needed to bring the project to life, plus instructions for how to make it again using found materials from around the house. Because once kids start seeing the world with a creative eye, a cardboard box is never just a cardboard box.
